If you think you're missing the important things in Paris by riding a bus along with a bunch of noisy tourists and listening to a recorded tape then you should take a minibus tour. Beside bus excursions for large groups, Paris Vision offers escorted minibus tours of Paris for smaller groups up to 8 people. This option has the advantage of pick-up and drop-off from the hotel or the place you're staying at and you get to see more of Paris than from a bus.

During the day, Paris Vision offers orientation tours allowing you to discover the major monuments and historical sites and also visits to museums like Louvre, Versailles and Orsay. The cheapest option is the 3-hour tour covering the Opera, Vendôme Square, Concorde, Champs-Elysées, Invalides, Louvre, Notre-Dame and a walk through the Montmartre for 55 euros. On the other hand, for 155 euros you'll get a full-day tour with a guided visit inside the Louvre, a lunch cruise on the Seine and an afternoon visit to Notre-Dame. If you're a Dan Brown fan you can take a Da Vinci Tour for 155 euros.

For the evening, Paris Vision has prepared a variation of tours combining minibus drives to see the city lights with dinners aboard a boat on the Seine or at one of the restaurants in Paris and cabaret shows at Moulin Rouge, Crazy Hourse, Lido de Paris or Le Paradis Latin. If you're only interested in the light show that Paris puts out at night you can get away with a 49-euro Illuminations tour but if you want a real night out in Paris expect to pay up to 260 euros for a dinner show at the Lido.

If you want to experience more of France you can get outside of Paris and take a minibus trip to Versailles, Malmaison, Mont-Saint Michel, or to see the D-Day landing beaches in Normandy, the vineyards in Champagne and the castles on the Loire Valley.
