Le Queen
The symbol of Parisian gay nightlife
Posted Monday, March 20, 2006
Le Queen has been widely known as Paris's flagship for gay clubbing for many years but now everyone is welcome, whether straight or gay as long as they're well dressed and ready to party. Of course, there will always be the drag queens to remind you this is a gay club. Be prepared for an electrifying amtmosphere, with pumping sounds and sweaty bodies.
The music is a mixture of ambient, house, dance and techno. Theme nights include "Disco Queen" on Mondays with a flavor of old-school dance music, Tuesday is house music night and on Wednesdays it's "Ladies Night" with free admission and open bars for women. Muscle, drag and strip shows are regular events.
The admission fee is 15 euros except for Fridays and Saturdays when it's 20 euros. Bring your best outfit as Le Queen is a place for pretty people.
