Le Paradis Latin
Cabaret on the Left Bank

Posted Friday, April 7, 2006

Le Paradis Latin located in the Latin Quarter was built in 1889 by Alexandre-Gustave Eiffel and features the same metallic-structure style as the Eiffel Tower. Ballet and musicals were presented there and at the time Paradis Latin became a very fashionable venue. However, in the early 20th century Montmartre turned into the epicenter of entertainment and Paradis Latin faded and was closed in the 1930s. In the 1970s Paradis Latin was revived and turned into a cabaret. It is the only cabaret located on the Left Bank. The current show, Paradis d'Amour, features acrobats, a ventriloquist, special lighting effects and of course, tasteful topless dancers.

Dinner is served at 8 pm and shows start at 9:30pm.
