Les Cars Rouges is a very convenient tour option for people staying for a short period in Paris and looking to get the most out of the city. The buses follow a single route with 9 stops at the major attractions in Paris. The trip is 2 hours and 15 minutes long and you can get off at any of the stops. After you have visited the museums and monuments of your choice and decided to move on, you can catch another bus and head to the next tourist attraction on the route.

You can buy a ticket for 22 euros that is valid in any of the Les Cars Rouges buses and you can use it for 2 days in a row; tickets for children are 11 euros. The tickets can be bought right from the bus.

For a quick overview of the attractions you're passing by during the tour, Les Cars Rouges offers commentaries in eight languages: French, English, Spanish, German, Italian, Japanese Russian and Chinese. A set of headphones, included in the price, is provided for every tourist so everyone can listen to the commentary in the language of choice.

The tour starts at the Eiffel Tower and the buses stop at Champs de Mars, the Louvre Museum, Notre-Dame, Orsay Museum, at the Opera, on the Champs Elysées, Grand Palais Museum and Trocadero. You don't have to wait too long at any of the stops as the buses are quite frequent, 10 minutes apart in the summer and 20 minutes in the winter.
