Cityrama
Organized day and night tours on double-deck buses with licensed multilingual guides.

Cityrama, a Grayline Company, specializes in guided tours for large groups. If Les Cars Rouges and L'OpenTour have fixed routes and stop for the passengers to get on, with Cityrama you have a licensed guide that takes your group inside the museums and monuments or on a tour of the districts and explains the art pieces, the architecture or the history of the places you pass by.

Cityrama offers both day and night tours. For the day, you can choose basic tours like the 1-and-a-half-hour Cityrama tour - a quick overview of the most important attractions in Paris - or more elaborate tours combining cruises on the Seine with visits inside the Louvre or the Notre-Dame cathedral.

At night, Cityrama organizes tours that mainly include dinner, a cruise on the Seine and a show at one of the most famous cabarets in Paris, Moulin Rouge or Lido de Paris. However, if you're not a cabaret show fan, you can choose the Illumination of Paris only (a drive by bus to see the illuminated sights and monuments) for 20 euros, a cruise dinner for 99 euros or a bus drive and a dinner at the Eiffel Tower for 83 euros.

While you're in Paris you can also consider a trip outside the city or in the provinces to make the best out of your French experience. Cityrama tours are a great value as you can spend a few hours getting to know the outside of Paris - Versailles, Chartres, Giverny, Fontainebleau and even Disneyland within a budget ranging from 37 euros for a Versailles orientation tour to 129 euros for a combined tour of Giverny and the Versailles Apartments. Cityrama organizes one, two or thee-day tours into the French provinces and you can visit Burgundy, the Loire castles, Provence, Lourdes, Mont Saint-Michel, Normandy or Reims.

Even though with Cityrama tours you get to see important bits of Paris you're still depending on the large group you're with, you have to stick to the timetables and if you want to find out more about the places you're visiting you'll just have to go exploring on your own another time. You'll also have to board the bus at a Cityrama terminal as there is no hotel pickup or drop-off. The great part is that you don't have to stay in line for the passes at the museums as the tour company takes care of that.
