The hotel, dating from the early 19th century, is located in a quiet area, near Place de la Bastille and rue Oberkampf, out of the tourists way. The Oberkampf metro station is really close by so you'll be reaching the main landmarks in Paris in no time: Notre-Dame, Louvre, Georges Pompidou Center, Ile Saint-Louis. The Opera House is in walking range and on Rue Oberkampf, the new hip nightlife area, lots of bars and clubs can be found.

The hotel was renovated in 2002 and offers 58 rooms sleeping 1 to 4 people. All the rooms are soundproofed and have private bathrooms (shower or tub). Amenities include phone with dataport, satellite TV, hair dryer and private safe. Rooms are on the smallish side and the pastel colors don't help much but they're perfect for a good night sleep. Internet access is available in the lobby free of charge. Single rooms are 63 euros. Breakfast can be served in the rear garden or in the dinig room for 6,60 euros. In-room breakfast is 7,20 euros.
